Maison Interlude House
Maison Interlude House is a Francophone organization offering a range of services, in French and in English, in the counties of Prescott, Russell, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry to help support women, their children and youth, in building a future without violence.
Leeds and Grenville Interval House
Leeds & Grenville Interval House provides shelter, support, and counselling services to abused women and their children, so that they may live free of abuse.
Birchway Niagara
Birchway Niagara provides safe shelter and outreach supports for individuals experiencing gender-based violence. We will be a shoulder to lean on, a voice to advocate for, a space to feel safe in, an ally to trust, a guide to navigate, and a counsellor to heal for everyone affected by abuse of all forms.
WomenatthecentrE
WomenatthecentrE is a non-profit organization that works to eradicate gender-based violence (GBV) through personal, political and social advocacy. As the only organization created by survivors, for survivors, we use our shared experiences to help create change at all levels.
Northwestern Ontario Women’s Centre
Northwestern Ontario Women’s Centre is a non-profit, community-based feminist organization providing frontline advocacy, support and information to local and regional self-identified women experiencing violence, poverty, human rights concerns or problems with legal (family, criminal) or administrative systems.
We provide system navigation, referral, legal rights, information and documentation support for women experiencing gender based violence and coercive control, with a particular focus on family law situations. We work with other agencies such as women’s shelters, VWAP, legal clinics, etc. and Luke’s Place Virtual Legal Clinic to ensure women experiencing violence can access legal advice, safety planning, risk assessment and connect with appropriate supporting services. We coordinate a community based High Risk GBV protocol.
Our work is framed with an Anti Racist, Anti Oppressive approach and is trauma informed. We are committed to principles of reconciliation and building respectful relationships with Indigenous people and leadership. Our public legal education and systemic advocacy focuses on access to justice and the prevention of gender based violence; and provides individual women and gender diverse people with the information and access they need to make informed and strategic choices.
Sexual Assault Survivors’ Centre Sarnia-Lambton
The Sexual Assault Survivors’ Centre is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to:
* Assisting victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse
* Ensuring that a comprehensive range of crisis, support, counselling, information and advocacy services is available to those who have been sexually assaulted and sexually abused.
* Encouraging coordination and networking among organizations providing services to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse.
* Working towards the prevention and elimination of coercive sexual behaviour.
Victim Services of Brant
Victim Services of Brant is a community based agency that assists emergency services in providing accessible, confidential. client centered support to victims of crime, tragic circumstance and disaster.
Gillian’s Place
Gillian’s Place provides safe refuge and support programs in an effort to end domestic violence. At Gillian’s Place, we provide safe shelter, confidential over-the-phone and in-person support services such as outreach counselling, legal advice and transitional housing for women, children and LGBTQQIA2S+ individuals.
Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey
Women’s House provides a safe haven for victims/survivors, knowing that ending violence is a community responsibility. We will work towards ending violence and abuse through knowledge, which is power, in order to create change.
