Timmins and Area Women in Crisis (TAWC) is a dynamic, community-based feminist organization, which provides services on intimate partner abuse and sexual violence to women and their dependents in the Timmins area. TAWC works within an integrated feminist, anti-racism, and anti-oppression framework. The agency administers a sexual assault centre, an emergency shelter, second-stage housing and anti-human trafficking, transitional housing, family court, outreach and child witness programs.

Embrave: Agency to End Violence is a non-profit organization that provides shelter, counselling, and advocacy supports for women, Two-Spirit, genderqueer, trans and non-binary folks and their children impacted by gender-based violence. Victim Services of Temiskaming & District
Victim Services of Temiskaming & District work to prevent violence through awareness and education. We collaborate with community agencies to provide rapid, trauma-informed support and advocacy for every person in the District of Temiskaming who has experienced crime or sudden tragedy.
