Niagara Sexual Assault Centre is a non-profit organization that responds to the needs of survivors of sexual violence and through public education increases understanding and awareness of sexual assault related issues. We are a 24/7 agency that provides immediate, confidential crisis intervention services, practical assistance, information, referrals, and emotional support to persons affected by crime, tragedy and/or disaster.

Assault and Sexual Abuse Program (ASAP) – Cornwall Community Hospital
The Assault and Sexual Abuse Program (ASAP) provides care to any person of any age who has been sexually assaulted. We also provide care to any person who is being abused by their intimate partner. Types of abuse can be physical, sexual, mental/emotional, spiritual, or financial. Our focus is on the health and well-being of our clients. All of our clients deserve and receive our respect and unconditional support. We do not judge. We respect our clients’ privacy and wishes. ASAP services are completely confidential. We do not involve the police unless the adult client (16 years of age and older) wants us to do so. If a victim is under the age of 16 and has been sexually assaulted, we may be required to call the Children’s Aid Society.

Victim Services of Nipissing District provides a variety of services to assist victims of crime and tragic circumstances in partnership with police, emergency services and other community based agencies.

The Victim Services of Algoma provide assistance through crisis response at the time of the incident, as well as services provides through the Victim Quick Response Program – offering safety devices, safety planning, basic necessities, food, etc. as required.
The Emily Murphy Centre and Supervised Access Programs of Perth and Huron
The Emily Murphy Centre provides Second Stage Housing and Support Services for women and children who have experienced violence. Supervised Access and Visitation between children and non-custodial parents or caring others.
