We are community members who are committed to education and advocacy as a means to end violence. We are also committed to providing shelter, counselling, transitional housing and support to women-identified individuals and their children who have experienced abuse and/or sexual exploitation/human trafficking.

Timmins and Area Women in Crisis
Timmins and Area Women in Crisis (TAWC) is a dynamic, community-based feminist organization, which provides services on intimate partner abuse and sexual violence to women and their dependents in the Timmins area. TAWC works within an integrated feminist, anti-racism, and anti-oppression framework. The agency administers a sexual assault centre, an emergency shelter, second-stage housing and anti-human trafficking, transitional housing, family court, outreach and child witness programs.
The Emily Murphy Centre and Supervised Access Programs of Perth and Huron
The Emily Murphy Centre provides Second Stage Housing and Support Services for women and children who have experienced violence. Supervised Access and Visitation between children and non-custodial parents or caring others.
Optimism Place, Women’s Shelter & Support Services
Optimism Place Women’s Shelter and Support Services supports women alone or with children to live free of abuse by providing shelter and confidential, non-judgmental services. We are committed to ending the cycle of abuse and violence by raising awareness through prevention, intervention, education and advocacy.

Three Oaks Foundation offers shelter, transitional housing and services for abused women and their children.
Nova Vita Domestic Violence Prevention Services
Nova Vita works to end interpersonal violence and abuse by supporting individuals and families who have experienced domestic violence, intimate partner violence, or gender-based violence through the provision of crisis intervention, emergency shelter, transitional support, children’s programs, and counselling; and by fostering accountability for those who harm through intervention, counselling, public education, and systemic advocacy.
Hiatus House
Hiatus House strives to break the cycle of domestic violence one family at a time. We do this by providing 24 hour a day crisis intervention and emergency shelter to abused women and their children. In addition, we provide public education, research and specialized counseling services for all family members affected by domestic violence.

Family Transition Place – Our Mission is to support the holistic well-being of those affected by gender-based violence and promote healthy relationships and community, through education.
Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis
G-WWIC provides community-based services to women and children on domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking.
