We achieve this through our understanding of poverty and the harmful effects of marginalization, discrimination and oppression. Sakeenah
Sakeenah is a network of transitional shelters across Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan serving women and children facing domestic violence, homelessness or poverty. Sakeenah also provides casework for everyone, as well as mental health services and support clients with achieving their goals. We provide free education and awareness workshops related to finance and budgeting, mental health and self care, legal and employment. Our work is holistic to achieve the highest level of independance for our clients.
